He ate a sandwich!!!

Newsflash,

I can't believe it.

Yesterday my son was hungry I told him I'll make you a sandwich. (I always say this, he always declines, hasn't eaten a sandwich since he was three and then it had to be cut into *perfect* cubes.)

This time he said, yes and he ate it!

Yippee!

I'm going to wait a few more sandwiches and see if I can find out why the change. Perhaps it was camp.

Also, thank you to everyone for praying I do feel much better now :-)

Yayyy that is awesome
R is a VERY fussy eater - everynight for dinner I make a paste of chicken curry rice and vegetables so he atleast gets one perfectly balanced meal - and I hand feed him while he watches Blues Clues or Little Einsteins - its too funny

Something happened to my comment.. I was saying, I am glad to hear that you are feeling better and I am also happy to hear that your son is eating a sandwich. That's good news, next he'll maybe want to try different toppings on it... :)

Wow, sounds like you and I share something in common, picky eaters!

Found your link on Whittier...looking forward to reading more.

I'm glad he ate his sandwich, such little things are big to us huh?

My son reportedly ate chips and salsa at camp! Miracle of Miracles!

Hurray!!!! I love it when our kids pleasantly surprise us like that. How long did it take for you to retrieve your jaw from the floor?

:: Happy Dance ::

That is a great step forward.

Heidi will eat sandwiches but only Vegemite and they have to be cut into 4 triangles. We had a screaming meltdown yesterday when I tried to persuade her to eat a ham sandwich instead.
